Every Tuesday in December beginning December 2nd and until he no longer wants to play them we will be hosting Komuso Tokugawa , Bringing the Boogie to the Bitstream at 7 PM SLT. What an awesome musician ! We are very excited to have him in our lineup :)
As always the Jazzologist Miles will play for us his awesome mix of jazz and blues every Sunday from 3 to 5 PM SLT. Sunday is one of my favorite SL days ! Be sure to come in and listen and win some prizes as Miles asks trivia questions based on his show that day. Again a huge thanks goes out to Ms Kiyla Dreamscape of Purely Wiked for making sure we had awesome trivia prizes !! Please check out Purely Wiked next door to the club, awesome designs!
Another newcomer to the Twilight stage December 4th at 7PM SLT...DaveSmall Finesmith! Dave came out of Missouri and landed in Boulder, when it was so hot with all the great studios and rock stars, by way of Gainesville, FL, and Colorado Springs. Bullet , his band... was a popular and regular fixture in Boulder during those times, when Dave relocated to LA for one last run before disco and punk swallowed up guitar-based rock.
The lovely songstress Ichie Kamachi will join us again on stage December 5th and December 19th at 8PM SLT !! She will have some romance for you and some Holiday tunes as well, so grab you best dress and best gal or guy and your fav dancing shoes and join us for this voice of an angel!
December 9th we have Lonnie Nightfire aka Lonnie Knight back at 6PM SLT , " Tall and thin, his presence while playing the guitar gives him the appearance of an authority looking down calmly on his six-string subject; but it's the actual sound from the instrument, the pure music he makes of the guitar, that confirms the authority. And at 7 PM that same night Komuso Tokugawa . So this will be a huge night for Twilight Blues and Jazz :) !
December 12th we will have Strummer Vultee back at 2PM SLT ! Strummer Vultee is from Tulsa Oklahoma, where tornado's are expected. Should have known he would come to SL just like a tornado and leave his audience amazed and dazed. But instead of heading for shelter, they go out looking for the next time he hits the grid! Strummer is an awesome RL/SL musician. He can play keyboard, guitar, and his harmonica will blow you away! But what will really rock your soul his is voice. It is very powerful and moving. Although he can play a wide variety of music, he really brings it home when he plays the blues!
Still booking more entertainment for you for the month of December and will post it as I have it finalized.
Be sure to check out all the hard work Lazlo has been putting in at the club and around the sim :). We have a new game room upstairs with 2 playable pool tables as well as playable darts and an awesome intimate balcony for a dance ! Be sure to check out the fabulous art work on the walls up there by the lovely artist Callipygian Christensen, she has some great works in the Gallery on the hill too !
BUT wear your boots :) snow has fallen over Twilight and its beautiful , Lazlo has created a winter wonderland with ice skating and ice fishing too! Watch his blog for a coming merchant / resident decoration contest!
